John Yokeley- CTE- Core Construction/Electrical Trades

I am John Yokeley, the Core Construction and Electrical Trades teacher here at Central Davidson High School.  I am happy to be able to serve the Central community, and I look forward to the opportunity to teach and share my love for the trades.  I grew up in Wallburg and graduated from Ledford High School in 2007.  Before I came to CDHS to teach, I spent 16 years as an electrical tradesman.  I started as an electrician's helper for a large commercial company and worked my way up to job foreman, and eventually project manager.  I have experience in everything from residential and commercial high voltage to fire alarm/security, access control, and datacom.  I am excited to share my knowledge and to help prepare students for a fulfilling and profitable career in an industry that is in need of quality professionals!
