Today, students received information regarding our first semester exams. Please review this information with your child so that you can ask questions before we get close to exams.
This week, early graduates will complete their WorkKeys test. This test allows students to earn certification that is recognized by business and industry. This test can help your child stand out from other applicants, and can help get them a higher pay grade after high school. If your child is graduating early and taking this test, please encourage them to take their time and do their best.
DCCC will be on campus this Thursday from 2 to 4 pm to help seniors apply for college. If your child is interested, please have them check their student email in order to sign up!
This Friday, our band invites our community to our 60th Anniversary Concert at the Civic Center, beginning at 7 pm. There is a $5 charge for admission for adults, and students are always free!
The CDHS Band also has a Dewey's Store open at 250 Fairview Dr. Please consider stopping by to purchase gifts and goodies for the holiday season.
Credit by Demonstrated Mastery is a state policy which allows students working at an advanced level to earn course credit for high school courses by going through a two-phase assessment process. Any high school parent or student who is interested in learning about this process should request an informational brochure and application from our main office. The deadline to apply for Credit by Demonstrated mastery is December 20th.
