With a career spanning from head coaching positions in major sports to leadership roles in athletic administration, Ochier offers a comprehensive and proven background in fostering athletic excellence, student development, and program sustainability. Most recently, serving as an assistant football coach at Mooresville High School, Ochier played a key role in propelling the program to the third round of the 4A state playoffs, implementing a strength program that resulted in measurable performance increases for every participating athlete.

Ochier’s coaching resume includes successful tenures as Head Football Coach at South Stanly High School and Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy, where he not only built competitive teams but also established strong community ties through creative and impactful fundraising, raising over $150,000 at South Stanly alone. His extensive coaching portfolio also includes leadership in track and field, where he was twice named Conference Coach of the Year.

Known for his ability to inspire and connect with students of all backgrounds, Ochier has consistently emphasized personal growth, accountability, and opportunity through athletics. His programs have consistently demonstrated improvements in student athletic performance, team cohesion, and school pride.

"Mr. Ochier’s leadership style, coaching experience across multiple sports, and proven ability to engage athletes, staff, and the community make him the ideal choice for Central Davidson,” said school administrators. “We’re excited to welcome him to Spartan Country."

Ochier holds a Master’s in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University and a Bachelor’s in Health and Physical Education from Heidelberg College. He is also a certified K–12 Health and Physical Education instructor and holds a North Carolina Class B CDL.
