We are thrilled to announce our new Head Volleyball Coach, Mrs. Mindy Lawson!
Mrs. Lawson is a 1997 CDHS graduate where she played volleyball and softball. She was an assistant volleyball coach for one year, and the JV volleyball coach for the past two years.
This is her 10th year teaching, and her 9th year here at CDHS.
She is currently the Assistant AD and has been one of our prom advisors for eight years.
On a personal note, she has been married for 23 years, and has two children: Dylan and Brynna. Dylan is a 2022 graduate of CDHS and was a thrower for the Track & Field team. Brynna is a junior at Central and plays volleyball.
When we caught up with her, Mrs. Lawson said, "I'm excited for this opportunity to continue building a strong program. I am dedicated to mentoring the athletes in team values, strengthening their love for volleyball, and not only coaching the sport but coaching life lessons."
We welcome Mrs. Mindy Lawson into this leadership role and are excited for the future of Spartan Volleyball!
