Principal's Message

Please remember there will be no school for students Tuesday, March 5th, as several schools are being used as voting sites.

As we finalize registration, please be aware that a change is coming for CTE (Career and Technical Education) Cords, which will go into effect for the class of 2027, this year's freshman class. Beginning with the class of 2027, students will earn a single CTE cord for achieving concentrator status with a grade of B or better in each class. Our current 10th through 12th graders, the classes of 2026, 2025, and 2024, will follow the current process and receive a content-specific academy cord with a grade of B or better.

We are excited to enter the spring sports season! Please remember to help us ensure we always represent ourselves and our school in a positive manner. We expect good sportsmanship from everyone involved at all athletic events, including students, student-athletes, parents and family members, coaches, and spectators. Spectators are expected to uphold acceptable standards of good sportsmanship and behavior, respect opposing participants, coaches, and game officials, and follow all directives from school administration, event staff, and law enforcement. Spectators who are disruptive, unruly, or abusive will be subject to ejection from the premises.

Thank you for all you do to support Central Davidson!

We hope you have a great week!
