It has come to our attention that false and unfounded information circulated at school today and has continued on social media. Please know that administration was not notified of any reports of weapons, nor were any weapons found on campus. We did receive a visit from one of our law enforcement officers with a canine who visited a few classrooms in the school. We conduct these visits periodically to ensure harmful substances are not brought onto our campus, where they may jeopardize the health and safety of our students. We ask that you help us by not circulating unsubstantiated information. Anytime you are concerned, please feel free to contact us with questions.
Please remember registration materials for the 2023-2024 school year will be distributed to students tomorrow during homeroom. It is very important that students keep up with this information for the next week. Please be on the lookout for these materials and discuss course options with your students over the weekend. Bring these materials to our registration night next Tuesday, February 20th. One slight change for that night. Our Lady's Varsity Basketball Team will be hosting the conference tournament. Therefore, our registration night will take place in the Media Center. Remember, this is a floating event from 5:30 to 7:30, where you can ask questions and receive information about various course options.
Next week is Future Farmers of America Appreciation, and we are celebrating with a Spirit Week! Students are out of school for an optional teacher workday Monday, but get ready to join us Tuesday - the theme is "Where's the FFA?' wear your camo attire. Wednesday is down on the Farm - Dress as a cowboy or wear a flannel. Thursday, show your Spartan Spirit by wearing CDHS FFA or any Spartan Attire or colors. Friday is FFA Spirit Day, wear blue and corn gold, the official colors of the FFA.
