Good evening, Spartans.
It is hard to believe we are at the end of the first semester. Your student should have received a peach-colored sheet of paper today with information about their specific exam exemption status in each of their four class periods. This sheet also has the location of any exams they may be required to take next week. If students have transportation and a signed parent note, they will be allowed to dismiss early when exams are complete, somewhere between 11:30 and 12:30. Students must provide a separate note for each day they have been given permission to leave early. These notes will be submitted to different teachers each day. Spartans, please get a good night's sleep, take your time, and do your very best on these important assessments. There will be no school Monday, January 15th, as we observe the Martin Luther King holiday. All 1st-period exams will take place Tuesday, January 16th, 2nd-period exams Wednesday, January 17th, 3rd-period exams Thursday, January 18th, and 4th-period exams Friday, January 19th.
Our Student Government Association is hosting a Sadie's Snowball Dance on Saturday, February 3rd, from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm at Morrison's Grove, located at 2929 Hedrick Mill Road. All outside guests must be current high school students and approved by school staff. Outside guest forms must be turned in to the front office or Mrs. Lewis by January 24th or as soon as possible. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased through School Cash Online.
We hope everyone has a great weekend!
