Principal's Message

Good afternoon, Central Davidson Spartans

This is your principal, Heather Horton. Tomorrow, Friday, September 8th, is our first home Football game against Lexington High School at 7:30 PM. We encourage everyone to come out and support our athletes. Please help us by ensuring that we always represent ourselves and our school in a positive manner. We expect good sportsmanship from everyone involved at all athletic events, including students, student-athletes, parents and family members, coaches, and spectators. Spectators are expected to uphold acceptable standards of good sportsmanship and behavior, show respect for opposing participants, coaches, and game officials, and follow all directives from school administration, event staff, and law enforcement. Spectators who are disruptive, unruly, or abusive will be subject to ejection from the premises.

We are excited to show our support for all fall athletes at our first pep rally tomorrow. The event is a fun, engaging way to build school spirit and connections with our fellow spartans. Students attending classes on campus are expected to join us for the pep rally and should not be singing out of school early. Attendance will be taken for 4th period at the conclusion of the pep rally.   This event will require an altered daily schedule. Students commuting on and off campus throughout the day, please note the following start times for each class period: 1st Period - 8:00, 2nd Period - 9:28, 3rd Period - 10:56, and 4th Period - 12:48.  Students will not report to homeroom tomorrow.

Thank you!  Have a great night!  Go Spartans!
