Tuesday, November 5, all 10th graders will take the PreACT. Those students will report to the new wing where they will be testing. They will be done by the end of 2nd period. Students should bring their own number two pencils for the exam.
Report cards will be mailed home this Wednesday, November 6. Included in the mailing will be transcripts for all 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students since by law we must provide a transcript home at least once per year. Freshman will NOT receive a transcript during this mailing. That will be done in June when we mail final report cards home.
Also included in the mailing will be a draft calendar for the 2020-21 school year along with a letter. Please take a minute to look over the calendar. If you wish to provide feedback, please use the survey link at the bottom of the letter.
Any juniors wishing to take the ACT for free in December need to see Ms. Burris in Room 102 for details. Space is limited so please see her by November 8.
Tuesday, November 5, we will be having our Powderpuff game which was rescheduled from Homecoming week. The gates open at 6:00, game time is at 7:00, and the cost is $3.00 to get in. Passes will not be accepted.
Looking ahead to next week, on November 13 we will have our fall athletic banquet at 6:00. Students must pick up a form in the cafeteria and turn money and the paperwork into the office ASAP.
Next Thursday, November 14 will be our National Honor Society Inductions at Bethany United Methodist Church. The ceremony will begin at 6:00.
We are still selling tickets for a chance to win a golf cart. Each ticket is $20.00 and can be purchased at many home events from Mr. Patterson or Ms. Lewis. The proceeds go to benefit Special Olympics which will be hosted by Central in the spring.
