This week is the last week of the nine weeks. Please be sure your child is finishing strong! If they have over 4 absences, they will receive an FF instead of a grade on their report card. Be sure to not let them go over 8 absences in any class, as they could be in jeopardy of losing credit.
If any student has under a 50 for the 3rd nine weeks, they will be offered a grade contract from their teacher. Please be sure they complete the assignments on the grade contract in order to bring their grade up to a 50. A 50 gives them a better chance of passing for the semester!
Next week we begin Benchmarks in our classes. Students are encouraged to do their best so that teachers can know where they need the most help.
Next Tuesday, April 2, students and staff are encouraged to wear blue for Autism Awareness!
Seniors - if you have received an award or scholarship that you want recognized during awards day, you need to be sure to tell Mrs. Paul! We cannot recognize you if we don't know about the scholarship.
Seniors - graduation is quickly approaching!! If you do not have your cap and gown or appropriate clothes for graduation, now is the time to start planning. If you have a financial need, please speak with a counselor so that we can help you make arrangements. Seniors are also reminded that it is time to pay their $20 graduation fee. This fee goes to offsetting costs incurred during the graduation walk, senior picnic, and graduation. We are in no way making money off of this, as the $20 will not cover the entire costs of all senior-related activities. Again, if there is a need, please see a counselor.
And finally, honor cords for various academies are being advertised on our TV announcements. Seniors be sure to see the appropriate advisor to purchase your cords.
