Counselor for 12th Grade
Lisa Paul, EdS- School Counselor- I attended Appalachian State University with a degree in Communications, Nova Southeastern University with a Masters in Family Support Services, and Liberty University with a Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership/School Counseling. This is my 3rd year at Central, but I have 21 years of high school counseling experience. I am working with 12th graders this year.

Deanna Carpenter- School Counselor- I am a National Board Certified Counselor and work as School Counselor at CDHS. I have a Bachelors from UNCC and a Master's in School Counseling from Adam's State University.

Mason Martin, M.Ed - School Counselor- I attended High Point University with a degree in Psychology and Westminster College with a Master's in School Counseling. This is my first year at Central, and at my previous counseling position I was a jack of all trades! Excited to be a Spartan!
 
 
CDC- Career Development Coordinator
David Walker, EdS- School Counselor-CDC- I attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in Political Science, Liberty University with a Masters in School Counseling, and Liberty University with a Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership/Administration. I have had the opportunity to work with elementary and middle school students as a school counselor and I have worked with high school students through my internship program at Liberty University. I am truly excited to be a part of the Spartan community and I look forward to an amazing year!
Ms. Henderson Picture
School Social Worker
Michelle Henderson- School Social Worker. I am a native of Lexington. I graduated from East Carolina University with my Bachelor in Social Work. After working a few years at Department of Social Services, I went back to obtain my masters degree. I graduated from University of South Carolina with Masters in Social Work and obtained my License in Clinical Social Work. 
I have worked in a variety of settings including; private practice, hospitals, nursing homes, and Daymark Recovery Services. I started working at Davidson County Schools in 2006. I have worked at several different schools throughout the county. I currently serve Davis Townsend Elementary and Central Davidson High School. In addition, I am the truancy court coordinator for Davidson County and the Lead School Social Worker. 
I am available to assist you in your educational career or any barriers that you may encounter.
