Many students underestimate the power of a good (or bad) ACT or SAT score. It can unlock admissions to great universities and scholarship money. A bad score can also limit a great student even if they have awesome grades.

Testing at Central Davidson High School
10th grade- Pre-ACT- Fall- Practice test, but can be used to take DCCC classes.
10th and 11th grade- PSAT- Fall- Practice test, but can be used to take DCCC classes. 11th grade year scores qualify students for National Merit Scholarships.
11th grade- ACT- early Spring- this is a REAL test for college admissions. Please take it seriously!!!
IMPORTANT! NC Public Universities- NOT requiring SAT/ACT for Fall, 2021 admission. If your only score is low, you might want to take again.
